Espen Mathiesen Seminar

    17-18 June 2023 in Zurich
    TWO DAYS – 4 CLASSES

The Freehugs team is proud to look back on a great start of our ‘Be precise’ Seminar series – for which we invited one of the most technically skilled and competition-tested masterminds of modern day Jiu Jitsu to the BJJ Lab: Espen Mathiesen. Famous for pulling off even the most difficult techniques in competitions, the Norwegian has proven his skill time and time again.
Check out this or this Highlight-Video of him competing.

    • Big Q&A with Espen on Sunday – ask him everything you ever wanted!
    • Good vibes! Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill-level or affiliation.

“The seminar was super organized! the procedure was clear from the beginning, espen was super accommodating and nice. i personally thought it was cool that all participants met together for limmat swimming and that this possibility was also organized – promotes the gym culture and team spirit. My only point of criticism – There was no acai :)”

    – Oliver Zimmermann, seminar participant

“I really liked the choice of Espen as a teacher – not only because he is successfull, but also because he explains really well and ads to a chill training athmosphere.”

    – Philip Reding, seminar participant

    • Changing rooms with showers and toilets
    • Free drinking water on tap right next to the mats

If you come with public transport, use the bus stop Hagenholz (Bus 781). The Leutschenbach station is also very close (Tram 10, 11, 12). If you like to walk, it’s only a 5-10 minute walk from the Zürich Oerlikon train station.
If you come by car, there is parking available at Parkhaus Messe Hallenstadion (not cheap).

The entrance is on the left side of the building, not the main entrance. There is a sign on the door. Once you are inside, follow the signs. The changing rooms are on the first floor, the training area is on the second floor.
